Farm Food HE Scottish Salmon Oil

While testing it has been shown that a part of the dogs has even more profit from Farm Food HE when the, until now used, linseed oil is replaced by Scottish Salmon oil. Another part of the dogs, however, seems to have more benefit from the current composition with linseed oil. For this reason we have decided to offer Farm Food HE, together with our current, trusted composition with linseed oil (indicated as Classic), with Scottish Salmon oil (indicated as Scottish Salmon oil). There is no difference in analysis (and nutrition) between the current composition Farm Food HE Classic and Farm Food HE Scottish Salmon oil.

The only difference is that linseed oil is vegetal and Salmon oil is animal. This could explain any possibly occurring difference between both foods because salmon oil has relatively more of the omega 3-fats EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) and DPA (Docosapentaenoic acid) than vegetal oils. One dog has more profit from these fats than the other, which could show from, among others, the following:

• Defecation: One dog has the best defecation while eating Farm Food HE Classic and the other while eating Farm Food HE Scottish Salmon oil, so in case you are not satisfied about your dog’s defecation, try switching to the other Farm Food HE.
• Skin and coat: The differences in the omega 3 fats can also have an effect on the skin and coat of the dogs. So the same goes for this, in case you are not satisfied about the skin and coat of your dog, switch to the other Farm Food HE. Do keep in mind that it may take a while before the changes/improvements become visible.
• Palatability: The differences between the vegetal linseed oil and the animal Salmon oil has an effect on the palatability of the food as well. Therefore one dog may prefer Farm Food HE Classic and the other Farm Food HE Scottish Salmon Oil.
