Farm Food HE Gluten Free

The composition of Farm Food HE “Gluten free” is basically the same as the composition of Farm Food HE “Scottish Salmon Oil” and “Classic”. However, the big difference is that the wheat is replaced by Sorghum and rice (both puffed, and precooked). To produce a gluten free product most manufacturers simply replace all the wheat by corn. However, we learned that the maximum amount of corn is exceeded by doing so. That is why we investigated other solutions. Sorghum (much more expensive than corn) is the solution we were looking for.

Sorghum is considered to have been one of the most important ingredients in our prehistoric diet, and, as we may assume, in the prehistoric diet of our dogs. Sorghum is a seed similar to rice and, just like rice and corn, does not contain gluten that could cause allergies. That is why this version of Farm Food HE Gluten Free is the perfect alternative for dogs with a proven or suspected gluten intolerance. In addition, extensive tests have proved that Farm Food HE Gluten Free is also a very good food alternative for dogs suffering from weak and/or damaged intestines, and have irregular bowel movements because of this.
