At all times: Feed with your eyes. After all, no two dogs are alike.
Ensure that there is always unlimited drinking water available for your dog(s)!
Important! Feed with your eyes. After all, no two dogs are alike.
In our dietary table a guideline is given for how much a dog should eat per kilogram of body weight. But not every dog is the same. It is possible that your dog needs a bit more or less than the guideline we suggest. For this reason we advise you to keep an eye on your dog. Use your eyes when feeding! It is okay to feel the ribs of your dog but you should not be able to see them.
What is a young adult dog?
That is a question we hear regularly. For a young adult we use 7 to 8 months as a guideline. Most dogs are adult (technically for dietary purposes) at the age of 16 months. This depends on the size of the breed. Small breeds become adult relatively younger (for their weight) than larger breeds. It is important to slowly reduce feeding over this period to an adult quantity.
